LyicsMy Saviour now I will obey,
And serve and praise him ev'ry day-
I now renounce this world below,
And after him I'll always go.
My fashion, lust and sinful pride,
With all this world I've laid aside;
My Jesus now I will obey,
And follow him in all his way.
My life doth now belong to thee,
Who op'd my eyes this way to see;
Too short my day to bless thy name,
Or to declare thy glorious fame.
In pain, temptation and distress,
In all this world's unrighteousness,
Thy name I'll own, thy praise declare,
And trust in thine Almighty care.
O Jesus keep me in thy sight,
And save me in death's gloomy night;
Then take me home with thee to rest,
Where with thy saints I shall be blest.
