LyicsLet's join to praise the Lord, our God,
For all his blessings shown,
Who cleans'd our soul with Jesus' blood,
And claim'd us for his own.
The spirit came, when we believ'd,
The love of God was shed
Abroad in all our hearts, that griev'd,
And were by Satan led.
How precious is this Saviour's love,
That frees our soul from sin;
It lifts our minds to things above,
And makes us glad within.
We'll now deny our fleshly lust,
And take our daily cross;
And in our Saviour always trust,
And count the world but dross,
Our God will not forsake his seed,
If him we trust alone;
He will provide all that we need,
And raise us to a throne.
Give up your hearts to him that blest
The wretched sinner Saul;
From guilty fears he'll give you rest-
He'll freely save you all.
