LyicsHelp me to come both meek and low,
And to my saviour humbly bow;
And there confess my guilt and shame,
And glory in thy precious name.
A sinner I confess I am;
But Jesus Christ, the precious Lamb,
Was slain for me, on him I'll trust,
And in his love I'll always boast.
O may my days be spent to thee,
Whose blood was freely spilt for me,
O may my heart be always thine,
That as a light I here may shine.
May all my ways like Jesus' be,
Attach'd to nothing that I see;
But make my way to him above,
And spread abroad his precious love.
What God has done I now must tell-
He's sav'd me from the fears of hell;
Now in his love I'll always feast,
And in his son I'll always rest.
