LyicsA kingdom now to you he'll give,
Who follow Christ below;
Distress, afflictions you will have,
But meekness you must know.
When great temptations o'er your head
Like mighty thunder rolls,
The blessings of his hand shall feed,
Your fainting weary souls.
When all the world against you boast,
And wage their dreadful spite;
Then he will lead, and love you most,
And save you by his might.
Yes, at this table you shall eat
The riches of his love;
The name of Jesus oft repeat,
Who all our foes reprove.
The promise is a throne of state,
Where we shall see our God.
Triumphing grace we'll there repeat,
In his blest, bright abode.
