LyicsThe love of God! how great to men,
To send his son to save from sin,
To shew our feet the way to heav'n,
To shew our sins are all forgiv'n.
This love doth teach us all to know
That we should love each other so,
That hell, with all it's fi'ry darts,
Should not with passion vex our hearts.
We love our God we now confess,
And claim the Lord our right'ousness;
His love unites our hearts in one,
In Jesus Christ the corner stone.
No name nor seet can us divide,
While in this love we all abide;
It makes us free-we now rejoice,
And take God's children for our choice.
We'll take each other by the hand,
And walk to Canaan's happy land,
We'll there unite to praise this love,
That brought us safe to heav'n' above.
