Lyics

The Lord's our Judge, he'll not condemn
The humble seeking heart;
But bless and save the sons of men
That from their sins depart.

When men reproach, cast out our name
And slander us in word,
The Lord will clear us of the shame,
And cleanse us by his blood.

The Lord on us bestows his law
Most holy just and good;
Now from his word we'll ne'er withdraw,
It gives such precious food.

This blessed law doth make us free
From sin and priestly pow'r;
We now together sit in thee,
And wish for laws no more.

The Lord's our king, He'll save us all,
When we are tempted sore,
He'll save us from all sin and thrall,
And Satan's loudest roar.

He'll save us in death's gloomy night
And from the lonesome cell;
He'll bring us all to heav'nly light,

Forever there to dwell.
