LyicsThe love of God, what tongue can tell?
He sent his son to save from hell;
He came to die for all mankind
That free salvation all might find.
God lov'd the world, the world was bless'd
When in our flesh his son was dress'd
He bore our sins, a heavy load,
And made the way for all to God.
He now that sees and feels his sin,
And prays to God to make him clean;
And freely trusts what Jesus's done,
Through all his soul his love shall run.
We feel this word, we know it's true,
It gives us light-a glor'ous view;
We see redemption full and free
For us and all, who bow to thee.
Here's love and grace beyond degree,
And sight for all that cannot see!
There's nothing lacking that we need,
With heav'nly bread he will us feed.
If we believe we shall not die,
But far from death our souls shall fly;
To dwell in love and ever sing
O frightful "death, where is thy sting."
