LyicsO Jesus, the giver of all we enjoy,
Our lives to thy honor we wish to employ;
With praises unceasing we'll sing of thy name,
Thy goodness increasing, thy love we'll proclaim.
With joy we remember the dawn of that day,
When cold as December, in darkness we lay;
The sweet invitation we heard with surprise,
And witness'd salvation to flow from the skies.
The wonderful name of our Jesus we'll sing,
And publishthe fame of our Captain and King;
With sweet exultation his goodness we prove,
His name is salvation, his nature is love.
We now are enlisted in Jesus' good cause,
Divinely assisted to conquer our foes;
His grace will support us till conflicts are o'er,
He then will escort us to Zion's bright shore.
And when to the regions of glory we rise,
And join the bright legions that shout thro' the skies,
We'll tell the glad story of Jesus' rich grace,
And give him the glory, the honor and praise.
In this blest employment, our spirits shall rest,
In sweetest enjoyment, on Jesus' breast;
We'll drink of the streams of Immnauel's love,
And bask in the beams of his glory above.
