Lyics

How pleasing to be-hold and see

The friends of Je-sus all a-gree-

To sit a-round the sa-cred board

As mem-bers of one common Lord.

Here we behold the dawn of bliss-

Here we be-hold the Sa-vior's grace-

Here we be-hold his pre-cious blood,

Which sweet-ly pleads for us with God.

While here we sit, we would implore

That love may spread from shore to shore,

Till all the saints, like us, combine

To praise the Lord in songs divine.

To all we freely give our hand,

Who love the Lord in every land;

For all are one in Christ our Head,

To whom be endless honors paid.
