Lyics

Father, oh hear me now?

Father divine!

Thou, only thou, canst see

The heart's deep agony;

Help me to say to thee,

"Thy will, not mine!"

O God! be thou my stay

In this dark hour;

Kindly each sorrow hear,

Hush every troubled fear,

Thee let me still revere,

Still own thy power.

In thee alone I trust,

Thou Holy One!

Humbly to thee I pray

That, through each troubled day

Of life. I still may say,

"Thy will be done!"
