BEHOLD a sinner gracious Lord,

Encouraged by thy precious word,

Would venture near to seek that bread,

By which thy children here are fed.



Do not the humble suit deny,

Of such a guilty wretch as I;

But let me feed on crumbs, though small,

Which from thy bount'ous table fall.
