Lyics

Sinner! come, 'mid thy gloom,

All thy guilt confessing;

Trembling now, contrite bow,

Take the offered blessing.

Sinner! come, while there's room --

While the feast is waiting;

While the Lord, by his word,

Kindly is inviting.

Sinner! come, ere thy doom

Shall be sealed forever;

Now return, grieve and mourn,

Flee to Christ, the Saviour.

Sinner! come to thy home,

High in heaven gleaming;

To the sky lift thine eye,

With true sorrow streaming.

Sinner! haste, time fleets fast,

And the grave is yawning;

Win renown, seize the crown,

Eternity is dawning.
