Lyics

THE Spirit, by the word,

Is calling, "Sinners come;"

The bride, the church of Christ, proclaims

To all his children, "Come."

Let him that heareth say

To all about him, "Come;"

Let him that thirsts for righteousness,

To Christ, the fountain, come!

Yes, whosoever will,

Oh let him freely come,

And freely drink the stream of life;

'T is Jesus bids him come.

Lo! Jesus, who invites,

Declares, "I quickly come:"

Lord, even so! we wait thy hour;

O blest Redeemer, come!

TO God and to his Son,

To God whom we adore,

Be glory as it was, is now,

And shall be ever more.
