Lyics

Jesus cometh from Galilee to Jordan,-

unto John, to be bap-tized of him.

And Jesus, when he was baptized,-went

up straight way out of the water.

See, here is water; what doth

hinder me to be baptized?

If thou believest

with all thy heart, thou mayest.

Can any man forbid water,

that these should no be bap-tized,

Which have received the

Holy Ghost as well as we?

When they believed the things

concerning the kingdom of God,

and the name of Jesus Christ,

They were

bap-tized, both men and women.
