Lyics

As down the stream of time we are gliding,

We'll trust in God with faith all abiding;

He'll never forsake, he'll never forsake.

When morning dawns, with birds sweetly singing,

Our voices too their tribute are bringing,

Of praise to the Lord, Of praise to the Lord.

When all around us noontide is shining,

And when at eve the sun is declining,

We'll sing of his love, we'll sing of his love.

We'll come to God with humble petition,

In ev'ry season, ev'ry condition,

In Jesus' blest name, in Jesus' blest name.

Though storms of sorrow oft overtake us;

Thank God for promise ne'er to forsake us;

We'll trust in his word, we'll trust in his word.

And when our songs on earth shall be ended

With angel bands our notes shall be blended,

In heaven above, in heaven above.

With all the saints, through Jesus' rich merit,

O Father, lead us, by thy good Spirit,

To heaven our home, to heaven our home.
