Lyics

Hark! how the Gospel trumpet sounds!

Thro' all the earth the echo bounds!

For Jesus, by redeeming blood,

Is bringing sinners back to God,

And guides them safely by his word

To endless day.

Hail! all-victorious, conquering Lord!

Be thou by all thy works adored!

Who undertook for sinful men,

And brought salvation thro' thy name,

That we with thee might ever reign,

In endless day.

Fight on, you conquering souls, fight on,

Until the conquest you have won!

Then psalms of victory you shall bear,

And in his kingdom have a share,

And crowns of glory you shall wear,

In endless day.

There we shall in sweet chorus join,

And saints and angels all combine

To sing of his redeeming love,

When rolling years shall cease to move,

And this shall be our theme above,

In endless day.
