Come ye dis-con-so-late, where-e'er you languish,

Come, at the shrine of God fer-vent-ly kneel;

Here bring your wounded hearts, here tell your an-guish,

Earth has no sor-row that heaven can-not heal.

Joy of the desolate, light of the straying,

Hope, when all others die, fadeless and pure;
