LyicsO JESUS, my Saviour, in thee I am bless'd!
My life, and my treasure, my joy, and my rest;
Thy grace is my theme, and thy love is my song,
Thy charms do inspire my heart and my tongue.
All human expression is empty and vain;
Tongue cannot unriddle the heavenly flame;
And sure, if the language of angels I had,
I could not, completely, the myst'ry describe.
O Jesus, my Saviour, to thee I submit,
With love and thanksgiving fall down at thy feet;
A sacrifice-off'ring of soul, flesh, and blood;
Thou art my Redeemer, my Saviour, my God.
