Lyics

Joy to the world, the Lord is come! -

Let earth receive her King;

Let every heart prepare him room,

And heaven and nature sing -

And heaven and nature sing -

And heaven and nature sing.

Come let us bow before his feet,

And venture near the Lord;

No fiery cherub guards seat,

Nor double-flaming sword.

The peaceful gates of heavenly bliss

Are opened by his Son;

High let us raise our notes of praise,

And reach th' Almighty throne.

To thee then thousand thanks we bring,

Great advocate on high;

And glory to th' eternal King

Who lays his anger by.
