Lyics

Hun-gry, and faint, and poor,

Be-hold us, Lord, again

As-sem-bled at thy mer-cy's door,

Thy boun-ty to ob-tain.

Thy word invites us nigh,

Or we would starve indeed;

For we no money have to buy,

Nor righteousness to plead.

The food our spirits want,

Thy hand alone can give;

Oh! hear the prayer of faith, and grant

That we may eat and live!
