Lyics

Rock of ages cleft for me,

Let me hide myself in thee;

Be of sin the perfect cure,

Save from wrath and make me pure.

Let the water and the blood,

From thy side a healing flood.

Should my tears forever flow,

Should my zeal no languor know

This for sin could not atone;

Thou must save, and thou alone;

In my hand no price I bring;

Simply to thy cross I cling.

While I draw this fleeting breath;

When mine eyelids close in death

When I rise to worlds unknown

And behold thee on thy throne--

Rock of ages, cleft for me,

Let me hide myself in thee.

Wake the song of jubilee,

Let it echo o'er the sea!

Now is come the promised hour;

Jesus reigns with kingly power;

Let it sound from shore to shore,

Jesus reigns forever more,

Now the desert lands rejoice

And the islands join their voice;

Yea, the whole creation sings;

Jesus is the king of kings!

Let is sound from shore to shore,

Jesus reigns for evermore.

Hallejah! praise the Lord,

Praise the Father; praise the Word;

Ever may their fame extend;

Never may their Praises end.

Hallelujah! praise the Lord;

Praise the Father; praise the Word.
