Lyics

IN expectation sweet,
We'll celebrate his praise,
Till Christ's triumphal car we meet,
Then sing through endless days.

He comes, the Saviour comes,
Death feels his mighty sword:
The joyful prisoners burst their tombs,
And rise to meet their Lord.

Thrice happy morn for those
Who love the ways of peace.
No night of sorrow e'er shall close,
Or shade their perfect bliss.
