LyicsHAIL to the Prince of Life and Peace,
Who holds the key of death and hell!
The spacious world unseen is his,
The sov'reign power becomes him well.
In shame and torment once he died,
But now he lives forevermore;
Bow down, you saints, around his seat,
And all you angel bands adore.
Live, live forever, glorious Lord,
To crush thy foes and guard thy friends;
While all thy chosen tribes rejoice
That thy dominion never ends.
Worthy thy hand to hold the keys,
Guided by wisdom and by love,
Worthy to rule our mortal lives,
O'er worlds below and worlds above.
DOXOLOGY.
Holy, holy, holy the Lord!
He lives by heaven and earth adored;
Filled with the Lord, let all things cry,
"Glory to God who reigns on high!"
