Lyics

NOW let our faith grow strong, and rise,

And view our Lord in all his love;

Look back to hear his dying cries,

Then mount, and see his throne above.

See where he languished on the cross!

Beneath our sins he groaned and died:

See where he sits to plead our cause,

By his almighty Father's side!

How shall we, pardoned rebels, show

How much we love our Saviour God?

Lord! here we'd banish every foe--

We hate the sins which cost thy blood.
