Exulting strike the chord;

Let all the earth, from shore to shore,

Confess th' Almighty Lord.



Glad shouts aloud -- wide echoing round,

Th' ascending Lord proclaim;

The angelic choir respond the sound,

They sing of death and hell o'erthrown
