Lyics

HOW much the drooping hearts revive

Of those who fear the Lord;

When sinners dead are made alive,

By his reviving word!

The servants of the Lord rejoice,

When souls receive the word-

When ransom'd sinners hear his voice,

Return and love the Lord.

The church of God their praises join,

And of salvation sing;

They glorify the grace divine

Of their victorious King.

In heav'n above, th' angelic throng

Around the throne rejoice:

But sinners sav'd should swell the song

With loudest-sweetest voice.
